Howdy! We are the Nichols and our goal is to live life to the fullest by traveling the world, meeting new people, and learning about new cultures.
Becky: I currently teach 5th grade in Corpus Christi, TX. I am a group exercise instructor and personal trainer on the side. Fitness is a priority in my life, so I compete in races, such as triathlons and running races. I love to dance, play the piano, read, and create crafts (like sewing). I'm experimenting with vegetable gardening. Most of all, I love living an exciting life with Trevor.
Trevor: My name is Trevor. I am 26 years old and have no idea what I want to do with my life. I grew up in a close knit family where our summer vacations consisted of making the 300 mile drive from Houston to New Orleans. Prior to college I did the most common international trip… Cancun. You can start to get the idea that I never lived outside the box, and that's not far from the truth. I even went to college for engineering because it was a safe risk with job security even though I frankly had no idea what engineers did.
I was dating my now wife for just a couple months before she convinced me to take a trip with my roommate to Salt Lake City during spring break of my first senior year. I was 21 years old when I made my first trip “alone”. I enjoyed the freedom I loved the ability to explore what interest me. It took a little help from alcohol for me to book my second trip, but I did not regret it one bit. Once I had my first real international trip, I was hooked.
Some of the things we look for now when we travel is: food, attractions off the beaten path, bodies of water, and fun exhilarating activities. My wife tends to look for the arts, history, and architecture making us a perfect balance.
